Esri Features GCS Customer, Boulder County, as Shining Example of an ArcGIS Server Website
The Boulder County, Colorado E-Mapping application, developed by GCS Research, has been highlighted by Esri as a feature application using their ArcGIS Server software.
Built using customized ArcGIS Server programming services and using Microsoft Silverlight and SQL Server, the parcel mapping interface offers a customized search tool for Boulder County that interfaces with outside search and display tools maintained within other departments. GCS developed 58 data layers with symbology, labels, map tips, and scale dependencies for clarity. The E-Mapping application integrates with Boulder County's database applications and provides a secure site with user authentication, to classify users by privilege level, and offer restricted features only to specialized users of the site.

SBA DESIGNATES GCS RESEARCH AS HUBZONE CERTIFIED
GCS open for business with broader US Government clientele
Missoula, Montana - GCS Research proudly announces that they have successfully met the US Small Business Administration's (SBA) ardent guidelines for HUBZone designation and are now a certified HUBZone small business. A HUBZone is a Historically Underutilized Business Zone and focuses on areas with fewer economic development and US government procurement activities than others. The program is designed to extend several types of contracting benefits solely available to those companies who comply with their HUBZone certifications.
