GCS Research is pleased to announce that it has won the ESRI Foundation Partner of the Year Award for 2007.  This is the third consecutive year that GCS Research has been recognized by ESRI, having won New Business Partner of the Year in 2005 and Business Partner of the Year in 2006.

Dr. Alex Philp and Mike Beltz received the award from Jack Dangermond at the ESRI Business Partner Conference in Palm Springs, CA on March 17th, 2007.  The Foundation Partner of the Year recognizes "a partner who has diligently built and maintained a very strong and dependable relationship with ESRI.  This partner is one of the foundation blocks of the ESRI Partner Program.

The ESRI Olympia office further qualified the significance of the award through the following statement:

"ESRI Olympia is particularly proud to recognize GCS Research as 2007 Foundation Partner. Headquartered in Missoula, Montana, GCS Research is a recognized leader in geospatial information technology providing connected "smart" applications; innovative extensions; and extensible, integrated Web services and assisting clients in achieving their objectives through a combination of experience, innovation, and commitment to excellence. GCS's ArcGIS extension, GeoMarc, is the world's first implementation of digital watermarking technology designed specifically for the geospatial industry and provides a set of tools to embed information into image pixels for copyright protection, geospatial data connectivity, geospatial data linking, and persistent georeferencing of geospatial imagery. GCS's aggressive promotion of ESRI products resulted in extraordinary growth in ESRI software sales and included deployments of ArcGIS Tracking Server."

"We are extremely honored to have received the Foundation Partner of the Year Award for 2007," states Dr. Alex Philp, President and Manager of GCS Research LLC.  "To be recognized by ESRI three years in a row demonstrates our commitment to innovation in the geospatial industry and providing solutions to our customers."
